YOGA TO THE FULL MOON

Two nights ago, I rode my bike down to the beach to catch the sunset. It was perfect weather and the colors from the sky reflecting on the water was absolutely breathtaking. I had a chance to reflect on my own life, just as the colors on the water. I did my yoga practice and enjoyed the scenery. I didn't want to leave, but the sky was growing dark and I had to ride my bicycle home. So, I said my final good byes and carried on.

On my travels home, I was stopped by the beauty of our gorgeous moon! It was just rising off the ground. I had forgotten that it would be a full moon that night; it was a wonderful surprise to see this gigantic moon pop out at me, as I came around the corner on my bike!

This luminous full moon, kisses the trees, leaving silver dust on everything it may touch. My heart it races. Overwhelmed by the serene and quiet night which embraces. An innocent world of dreams. Untouched by the harsh rays of the sun's reality. What a blessing it is for me to stand here underneath such beauty!

Here are some photos I was able to capture. Thankfully I had my awesome camera on hand that my boyfriend had gotten me for a gift, to try and somewhat capture such beauty! :)

Nature is truly a gift. Get out there and enjoy it's magical healing powers. Spend time just admiring and appreciating this gift; it really will leave you with a calm, peaceful feeling. Try doing some yoga outside! Not only does yoga balance your body, mind and spirit in such an uplifting way; it also has tons of benefits :
Practicing yoga is a perfect way to help deal with Western cultural problems of incorrect posture, aggressive lifestyles, job stress, demanding family lives, overeating and indigestion, and stiff muscles and joints.
Yoga gives you, increased flexibility, profound relaxation, clarity of thought, and improved muscle tone and strength, as well as improved balance, coordination, concentration, and oxygen intake.
Yoga practice can also help manage anxiety, arthritis, asthma, back pain, blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue, depression, diabetes, heart disease, menopausal symptoms, migraines, multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis AND SO MUCH MORE, try it!

Babies are born yogis. Once we were all able to pull our toes up by our ears and laugh about it. Then we aged, got injured, began carrying stress in our shoulders and back. We lost our balance.Yoga is an ancient practice that helps create a sense of union in body, mind, and spirit. It brings us balance. And doing it out in nature, really gives you a sense of home, life, yourself, meaning and really helps ground you.
Hope this helped inspire you to get out and enjoy all life's little gifts, that we are always constantly being blessed with!
Much love
